Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning the case of a five year old girl who died of an asthma attack. She went to Dr. Joanne Rowe and was turned away because she was four minutes late to her appointment. All the while Dr. Rowe knew the girl was at risk of another life-threatening asthma attack. She also didn’t even asks the mother about the girl’s symptoms. Her punishment was a six month paid suspension by a secret disciplinary panel.
